We offer undergraduate and graduate degree 程序s leading to the BS Degree in 应用工程技术，学士学位 汽车工程技术，学士学位 计算机图形技术, 技术管理硕士学位, 应用科学与技术博士学位.
Our 程序s serve the diverse needs of students who are interested in pursuing careers in engineering and technology enterprises and government agencies. Our curricula focus on applied science and engineering as well as hands-on learning activities and projects. Our degree 程序s enable students to apply basic science and engineering principles, technical and management skills to secure application-oriented technical and management positions. Graduates of our degree 程序s are successful in securing employment in industry and government.

The 应用工程技术系 at N.C. A&T traces its history back to the Trade Program in the School of Mechanical 艺术 in 1929. The Trade Program became the Technical Institute in 1951. Ten years later, the institute became the School of Industries. In 1967, the Department of Industrial Technology was established to offer a 4-year B.S. 程序 工业技术 with four concentrations: Construction, 电力与电子, 发动机功率, 和制造业. The department became the Department of Manufacturing Systems in 1989 in the School of Technology. The name of the department was changed to 应用工程技术系 in 2010. The following table shows the history of the AET department at N.C. A&T.
